Driven by Integrity, Defined by Excellence

As educators and parents, we know children excel in the right school — one that celebrates their strengths and nurtures their development.

Our experience working in top UK independent day and boarding schools, means we understand what different schools are seeking and how to effectively navigate the diverse and complex admissions processes.

Clare Gill

Founder & Lead Consultant

With over 25 years of experience in both UK and international education, I offer expert guidance to families exploring the UK independent school admissions process. My career has encompassed primary teaching, leadership in special educational needs (SEND), National Curriculum assessment, and the management of 11+ and 13+ admissions at one of the UK’s top independent boarding schools.

Having lived and worked in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and South America, I bring a thorough understanding of diverse education systems and the unique challenges faced by globally mobile families.

I have supported children across the full academic spectrum—including those with complex learning profiles and those with exceptional talents in academics, sports, and music

What distinguishes my approach is my insider knowledge of the evolving UK independent school landscape. I have conducted hundreds of assessments, built strong relationships with Headteachers and Admissions teams across the sector, and guided families through every stage of school application. I am passionate about helping families find schools where their children will flourish, and I know how to present each child’s unique strengths and character in the most compelling way.

I have extensive experience supporting students and families navigating the UK boarding school admissions process, providing guidance throughout each stage of the journey.

Having lived and worked in China, the UK, and the United States, I bring a strong cross-cultural perspective and a deep understanding of the expectations and priorities of Chinese families in international education planning.

Within the team, I support the day-to-day operations of the company and deliver a high-touch concierge service to clients. This includes assisting with transactions and administrative processes, liaising closely with schools, attending parent meetings on behalf of families, and providing clear, detailed bilingual (English and Chinese) summaries and reports.

I am committed to delivering efficient, detail-oriented, and reliable support, ensuring smooth communication and a well-managed process so that families can feel confident and at ease throughout their child’s school application journey.

Clare’s support was invaluable in helping us prepare our daughter for her entrance and examination process. With her guidance, our daughter was granted a place at Cheltenham Ladies' College — an incredible opportunity that will positively shape her future for the rest of her life. We found Clare extremely informative and personable, and we are genuinely grateful for her support.

Mr & Mrs G

Although my wife attended boarding school in the UK, we still found the process of exploring options for our children from Hong Kong both daunting and complex. We visited many schools, and Clare was by far the standout admissions professional we met. She took genuine time to engage with our children and understand their interests. At a point when we felt more overwhelmed than when we began, Clare’s calm guidance and thoughtful understanding of our family’s needs were truly invaluable.

Mr & Dr P

Of the five assessment days my daughter attended, Clare Gill was the only person who took the time to share her observations with us and offer thoughtful, constructive guidance on school choice. Thanks to her advice, we were able to explore our daughter’s social and emotional needs more deeply, and I’m delighted to say that she is now happily settled and thriving at a boarding school that suits her perfectly.
